I would like to suggest this video of mine. I made it when I used to skateboard. This video was meant to display my avid support, which was based on reason and logic, of the Almost skateboard brand, and, hopefully, have people seriously consider the brand for their next - or first - board.
It has approximately 35,000 views as of the date of this blog post. It seems to have convinced some people to buy an almost skateboard. Although, it was posted 2 years ago, the reasoning used to determine why I figured almost is a great brand are still applicable to today. Basically, even if you are not convinced enough to buy an almost skateboard, the video will show you how I analyzed the board, and it will provide you with some background information on certain skateboard technologies.
Not only do I hope that this post will allow non-youtubers to be aware of this video's existence, but that it also will help assist any parent's understanding of what to look for when purchasing a skateboard. Hopefully, this will give the parent faith in what they bought for their child.
However, parents should still ask their children what board their child prefers, because a lot of skateboarders, don't actually have a legitimate basis for their judgement no matter how much the child pretends to know; and therefore, they might not be satisfied with a board that they haven't heard is "the best."
Essentially, as I have stated before, regardless of whether you are convinced enough to buy an Almost skateboard, the video will still provide understanding of skateboards and some means through which one can analyze a board's characteristics.
